The 2015-2016 academic year saw the launch of our very own 6th Form campus in collaboration with Invictus 6th Form, the first time we have hosted post 16 study since 1991. We are very passionate about providing an opportunity for our students to continue their studies here at our school. We offer a wide variety of courses, both A-level and BTEC, and can offer unrivalled pastoral care and support to all of our students. Crestwood 6th Form students also benefit from the resources and teaching expertise the 4 other Invictus Schools offer. The success of our 6th Form is evident as the numbers enrolling grows with each academic year.
Our campus offers familiar surroundings, small class sizes and outstanding teaching and learning. However, being small has its benefits – students get the care and attention that they deserve meaning that they can thrive knowing that they can achieve anything! Sixth Form tutors offer specialised advice on studying, revision, careers and universities. Students are encouraged from the very start to develop independence and to become ‘professional students’. They are treated as young adults and have their own Sixth Form space in school. As a result, students flourish in a supportive school environment. Opportunities outside the classroom are numerous. Enrichment activities include tutoring young students, work experience placements, classroom teaching-assistant opportunities, sport and much more. Students also have social events and opportunities to develop further personal skills. As a member of Invictus Sixth Form, Crestwood also provides a base for students to benefit from as well as the expertise and support from the other schools in the Multi-Academy-Trust. This means that students are given every opportunity to succeed.
Any further information on ours or any of the other Invictus 6th Form campuses can be found in our prospectus which is available on this site, for a hard copy please call into the school or email me directly firstname.lastname@example.org
