PROBLEM WITH AUDIO ON VIRTUAL LESSONS? SEE BELOW:
If students are using an iPad to access their Virtual Lessons this must be done via Home Access (Remote Desktop).
If Virtual Lessons are run directly on their iPad via the Safari internet browser App, microphone audio will not be heard (If installed, it has also been discovered that Google Chrome on the iPads does not support the Virtual Lesson website itself and will insist you revert to Safari, which, as this email informs you does not support microphone audio anyway).
Instead, the student will first have to open Home Access, and from within this environment they will be able to hear the Virtual Lesson using Google Chrome.
If you have students in your lessons mentioning no audio and they are using an iPad, please can you check that they are accessing the Virtual Lesson through Home Access?
Dear parents and carers, please ensure you complete the below survey before 12pm today. The survey is to be completed where at least one parent in the household are ‘Key Workers’.
