Our Deepest Condolonces

Updated: Dec 9, 2020

December 3, 2020

It has been such a heartbreaking day, we echo the sentiments of our CEO, Mr Bowles, in his statement below – Mrs Sutton: “This morning we received the desperately sad news that five young people were travelling in a vehicle that collided with a tree in Kingswinford. Two teenage girls and a man in his 20s (the driver of the vehicle) lost their lives at the scene. For us this tragedy has been made all the more painful after we received the news that 4 of the 5 people involved were former Invictus students. It is with a heavy heart that we are to announce that the two teenage girls were former students of Crestwood School and Wombourne High School. We would like to extend our most sincere condolences to the families, our thoughts and prayers are with you and we are so sorry for your loss, two wonderful young ladies who we were immensely proud of. Two other former students were also involved in the collision and are currently in critical condition in hospital, again our thoughts and prayers are with their families, everyone at Crestwood, Wombourne High School and Invictus Education Trust are hoping and praying for a swift and full recovery.” Tony Bowles Chief Executive Officer Invictus Education Trust
