On Wednesday 11th May, 24 students in Year 9 and 10 attended their graduation ceremony from The Brilliant Club’s Scholar’s programme, at the University of Warwick.
Students studied the topic of ‘War and Peace’ with a PHD student from the University of Warwick during the Spring term. Then completed 2500 word essays on the question ‘Can anticipatory self-defence ever be justified?’. The standard of work produced was excellent, with some students achieving a 1st in their final assignments.
It was a fantastic day celebrating their achievements with other schools from all over the Midlands and having a closer look at the University of Warwick. They should be very proud of themselves!
